SFR is a leading mobile internet player: the success of the Illimythics offer, which was launched in November 2007 and which has been taken up by 250,000 customers since January 2008, shows the wide public interest in new web usage and mobile messaging. One of the key factors in the democratisation of the mobile internet is the ease of searching and using services on terminals which are still limited by screen size and data input interfaces. The arrival of tactile multi-touch screens, as sensors of movement and proximity, allied to the adaptation of Web 2.0 software environments to mobile platforms, will accelerate the development of use even more in convergence with the PC environment. The future is largely open to any innovation and they will not fail to emerge in these fields.
