Resume : Anil is a Media and Publishing professional with over two decades of experience in the Publishing and Media Industry. Beginning his career with a Telecom Equipment provider L'avenir Telecom, he moved to CyberMedia, Asia’s biggest IT media specialty house.

Anil began with the MR division of CyberMedia, which in partnership with IDG group was operating as its India research center.

After a successful stint at IDC and co-authoring two research reports, Anil moved on to the print publishing division and later worked in key business units of CyberMedia Group including International Marketing, heading marketing and sales of its multiple brands, heading sales for its mega events division and moved on to the Online division, CIOL.

He began his stint with CIOL in 2002, was instrumental in its re-branding and re-positioning in the first year. He transitioned the online division during the dot-com industry burst to a highly profitable division of CyberMedia.

He set up community programs for developers, enterprises, and association tie-ups bringing in closer contacts with the Industry, vendors and users of Information Technology. Under his leadership, CIOL increased its revenue and market share of overall CyberMedia Group.

The popular brand of C-Change, which is India’s first CIO forum, was started under his leadership and has just completed its 5th annual event in Bangalore recently.

Currently Anil heads Business Operations of CyberMedia India Online Ltd and is based out of Bangalore, India.
